Toothiana is from the movie Rise of the Guardians, which is based off The Guardians of Childhood book series. She is a centuries old spirit that is the Guardian of Memories. These memories are stored in children's baby teeth that she collects once they fall out and safeguards them. This is where her title of "Tooth Fairy" comes in though her mini-fairies actually do most of the work. Protecting children with the other Guardians is her life's purpose and she lives on their belief in her.
